I’ve always loved words. The sharp ones, the soft ones, and the ones that make you feel something before you even know why….

Before I ever called myself a writer, I was narrating life in my head, scribbling in the margins, and searching for the perfect way to phrase what others couldn’t. I grew up in the Bay Area on books, 20/20 reruns, and the unshakable belief that curiosity is a superpower. I didn’t follow a traditional path into copywriting.

I followed my instincts.

I got my start in customer service after my managers took note of the feedback I was getting—comments not just about satisfaction, but about how I managed to lift people’s moods even when I couldn’t give them what they asked for. Since most of those interactions happened over chat and email, I saw an opportunity—and I took it. I asked for a writing-based role.

That leap carried me into managing social media at Yelp, organizing events for local vendors, and staying embedded in the start-up world until I landed a spot in the D&AD Shift with Google program.

That’s where everything clicked.

I realized advertising was a culmination of all the things I’d done—and the creative work I’d always wanted to do. What draws me to copywriting is that it forces me to think like others. It’s my job to understand what matters to them, what catches their attention, and what patterns they follow. It means the work is never too dull for me, because it’s never just about me.

I’m a copywriter, yes—but I’m also a lifelong student of people.

That’s what fuels my passion for journalism and long-form writing. I’m always in my bubble working on something—writing, researching, connecting dots—even if I’m not convinced it’s “good enough” to put out. I ask questions constantly, and I do my part to answer them with honesty, clarity, and balanced research. I’m a firm believer that since the internet, ignorance is a choice. And I choose not to be.

Outside of my ambitions, I’m a baking apprentice at the University of Youtube, swimmer, reader, and rookie pottery girl.

Thanks for hanging out on my website!
